Founded in 2008, Game Day Memories was inspired by Bo Mitchell after witnessing a heartwarming moment between a father and son, Sherwood and Nick Owens, as they shared dinner while watching a Denver Nuggets game. Nick, who has Spina Bifida and is wheelchair-bound, found joy in attending games. This experience sparked the realization that many families with special needs children could benefit from similar opportunities. Thus, Game Day Memories was established to purchase ADA seats at professional sporting events and donate them to organizations that assist special needs families, allowing them to create cherished memories together.
