Founded in 2005 by veteran educator Chekesha White, G.I.R.L.S. Club is a community-based mentorship program dedicated to empowering at-risk teen girls. With a growth from one mentor and 10-15 mentees to over 80 mentors and 500 girls annually, the organization has made a significant impact in the Hampton Roads area.
G.I.R.L.S. Club fosters meaningful connections that enhance academic, social, and behavioral outcomes for mentees while equipping mentors with valuable leadership skills.
