Future Ties

Our Story

Future Ties was founded in 2011 by Chicago Police officer Jennifer Maddox, who recognized the need for engaging activities for children in Parkway Gardens. By transforming a basement into a safe space for after-school programs, Future Ties has grown to serve hundreds of kids each year, providing them with enriching experiences and mentorship.

Impact

Each year, Future Ties impacts the lives of countless children through field trips, arts and crafts, and academic support. The organization helps students achieve the grades necessary to gain admission to prestigious high schools across Chicago.
