About FUSION

Founded in 1993, FUSION - Friends United to Shelter the Indigent Oppressed and Needy began as a grassroots initiative aimed at supporting women with children facing homelessness, particularly those affected by domestic violence. Over the years, it has grown into a vital 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, operating 20 transitional housing units and the Pete Andersen FUSION Family Center, a 90-bed emergency shelter.

Impact

FUSION has successfully assisted over 200 families in transitioning from homelessness to self-sufficiency, with more than 85% of guest families securing permanent housing after their stay.
