The Furniture Bank of Central Ohio, established in 1998, began its journey in a church basement, providing furniture to 400 families in its first year. Over two decades, it has evolved into one of the largest furniture banks in the nation, serving over 70,000 families and impacting more than 200,000 individuals. With a dedicated team of over 7,000 furniture donors and 2,500 volunteers, the organization continues to uplift families emerging from homelessness and other life challenges.

Making a Significant Impact

In 2023, the Furniture Bank served 3,738 families and provided 39,214 pieces of furniture, showcasing a strong community commitment to those in need. Collaborating with over 75 referral partners, the organization ensures that families receive the support they deserve.
