The Story of Furnishing Hope

Founded in 2010 by Suzy Palitz, Furnishing Hope of Massachusetts emerged from a heartfelt desire to support homeless families transitioning into permanent housing. While volunteering, Suzy discovered that many families were still living without basic necessities, often sleeping on the floor or using cardboard boxes as makeshift furniture. This realization ignited a passion to help those in need, leading to the establishment of Furnishing Hope.

Creating Homes, Changing Lives

Since its inception, Furnishing Hope has successfully assisted over 740 families in the Boston area, providing essential furniture, home goods, and moving services. This initiative has positively impacted more than 2,100 children and adults, helping them transform their bare apartments into welcoming homes.
