Our Story

Furnishing Hope was founded by designer Beth Phillips in Orange County, California, after recognizing the waste of furniture when clients moved. Inspired by Habitat for Humanity, the organization connects those with excess furniture to families in need, transforming lives since 2003.

Impact

Furnishing Hope has successfully furnished over 350 homes for families in crisis, including more than 250 homes for wounded veterans, providing them with a nurturing environment to heal and thrive.
