Our Story

Founded by Annabelle Wallnau, Furnishing Families of Texas was born from a childhood dream to establish an orphanage. After witnessing the struggles of a family affected by a water disaster, Annabelle recognized the urgent need for support in the community. This inspired the creation of an organization dedicated to meeting the physical and spiritual needs of families, especially single mothers and their children.

Our Impact

Since its inception, Furnishing Families of Texas has provided over 1,000 beds and countless essential household items, significantly improving the lives of children and families in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
