Our Story

FurKid Rescue is a dedicated foster-based animal rescue organization located in Pittsburgh, founded in 2008. Initially focused on rescuing Pit Bulls, the organization has expanded its mission to include all breeds, responding to the urgent need for rescue from puppy mills and backyard breeders.

Impact

Since its inception, FurKid Rescue has successfully placed over 2000 dogs and cats into loving homes, rescuing them from life-threatening situations and providing essential care and training.
