Our Story
Established in 2002, Fulton Science Academy began as a charter middle school and quickly gained recognition as one of the highest performing schools in Fulton County. After a decade of success, the founders transitioned to a private school model, allowing for greater autonomy and innovation. In 2012, Fulton Science Academy Private School opened its doors, focusing on rigorous STEAM education for advanced and gifted students from Pre-K through 8th grade.
With a commitment to excellence, the school doubled its enrollment each year, necessitating the construction of a state-of-the-art 72,000 square foot facility on an 18-acre campus. This new campus, which opened in the 2015-16 school year, includes science and technology labs, art and music classrooms, a media center, a cafetorium, a gym, and a playground. The expansion allowed FSAPS to offer high school classes, celebrating its first graduating class in 2019.
Currently, the school is in its third phase of development, which includes an athletic field, greenhouse, innovation lab, observatory, campus fencing, and tennis courts. Future plans include a fine arts center with a 600-seat auditorium and film studio, further enhancing the educational experience for its students.
