Our Story

The Frontera Land Alliance was founded in 2004 by dedicated community members who recognized the urgent need to preserve the vital natural and working lands of the greater El Paso and southern New Mexico region. With a focus on protecting the northern Chihuahuan Desert's open spaces, farms, ranches, and wildlife, the organization guides landowners in maintaining the character of their land for future generations.

Our Impact

Frontera Land Alliance has successfully conserved over 8,000 acres of land and engaged more than 8,750 individuals through educational events. Recognized as a nationally accredited land trust since 2017, the organization has undertaken significant conservation projects, including the Castner Range National Monument, ensuring the protection of vital ecosystems.
