Our Story

In 1995, a dedicated group of educators, chefs, and food professionals launched Days of Taste®, a curriculum designed to engage elementary school children in the joys of food. This initiative evolved into Spoons Across America in 2001, focusing on educating children and families about nutrition, healthful eating, and supporting local farmers.

Impact

Today, over 22,500 children are part of the Food Exploration Project, with 47 schools across the nation participating. This marks the largest enrollment in national programming in over 20 years, all offered at no cost thanks to the generosity of donors.
