Our Story
Established in 1997, the Friendship Center was created to address the challenges faced by individuals with severe mental illness. In response to cuts in publicly funded day programs, Holy Comforter opened this vital resource to support adults marginalized by poverty and chronic mental illness.
Impact
Every Tuesday and Thursday, the Center serves 75-85 participants, providing essential services such as transportation, nutritious meals, mental health education, and recreational activities.
