Our Story

Friends of UW Health is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been committed to raising funds for patient and family-related needs at UW Health since 1976. With the help of dedicated volunteers, this organization has made a significant impact on the lives of countless patients and their families.

Impact

Over the years, Friends of UW Health has provided free wigs for over 450 patients at the Carbone Cancer Center, hotel accommodations for families in need, financial assistance for housing insecurity, and food supplies for discharged patients through the Critical Access Food Pantry.
