In 2013, Meg Daly, the founder of Friends of The Underline, discovered the potential of the underutilized land beneath Miami’s Metrorail while recovering from an accident. This sparked a vision to create a 10-mile linear park and urban trail, fostering community engagement and environmental sustainability.
