Our Story

Since 1991, Friends of the Riverfront has dedicated itself to protecting and restoring the riverfronts in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. With over 35 miles of developed trails and a water trail featuring more than 30 access points, the organization connects communities to the beauty of nature. Each year, more than 1000 volunteers contribute their time to keep these trails clean and accessible, fostering a sense of community and stewardship.
