Threatened with demolition, the Norcross House was saved in 2003 by a dedicated preservation group. This united effort by the citizens of East Longmeadow continues today, as the Norcross Center, Inc. works towards the restoration and preservation of this historic site. The ultimate goal is to create a historical research and education complex that will complement the Museum and Commission Headquarters House, along with the nearby Library.
The Norcross Center serves as a vibrant venue for various events, including arts and crafts galleries, parties, historical education, and receptions.
