Our Story

Bike Fort Collins was established in 2005 to address the growing need for bicycle advocacy and education in the community. With a mission to ensure that everyone, regardless of ability or identity, can enjoy cycling, the organization has worked tirelessly to create safer streets and foster a vibrant bicycle culture.

Impact

Each year, Bike Fort Collins delivers bicycle education and safety programming to over 7,000 students through the Safe Routes to School program. Initiatives like MyCycle provide free bikes and helmets to second-graders in Title 1 schools, significantly increasing access to cycling for underserved communities.
