Our Story

The Colorado River Alliance, founded in 1994, is dedicated to educating today’s youth to become tomorrow’s leaders in river conservation. With the support of the Lower Colorado River Authority, this standalone 501(c)3 organization focuses on ensuring a legacy of a healthy river and sustainable water resources in Texas.

Impact

Each year, the Alliance reaches 14,000 community members and school children, removing 5,000 pounds of trash from the river and conserving 20 gallons of water through impactful programs.
