Our Story

Friends of Texas Wildlife is a dedicated group of trained volunteers committed to the care of injured, displaced, and orphaned wildlife in Montgomery County and surrounding areas. As the only wildlife rescue organization in Montgomery County, they are permitted by both U.S. Fish & Wildlife and Texas Parks & Wildlife Departments, ensuring the highest standards of care for the thousands of animals they receive each year.

Impact

Each year, Friends of Texas Wildlife provides immediate veterinary care and rehabilitation for countless malnourished, sick, or injured animals, while also offering educational programs that promote peaceful co-existence between wildlife and humans.
