Our Story

Friends of Springbrook Park was established in 2003 by a dedicated group of neighbors committed to preserving Lake Oswego’s oldest and largest natural area. Collaborating with the City of Lake Oswego, the organization developed a management plan that balances conservation with public use, ensuring the park remains a cherished resource for generations to come.

Our Impact

Through numerous volunteer events, Friends of Springbrook Park has successfully removed invasive species, restored native habitats, and maintained park trails. Thousands of native trees and plants have been planted, significantly improving the park's infrastructure and enhancing educational opportunities for local schools.
