Our Story

Founded in 1996, Friends of Slavens School is a dedicated 501(c)(3) charity committed to enriching the educational experience at Slavens School. By funding essential programs that go beyond public education, FOSS ensures that every child has access to quality STEM instruction, arts, music, foreign language, and athletics.

Impact

FOSS funding directly supports vital resources such as a STEM facilitator's salary, mobile STEM lab laptops, audio systems, and essential Covid PPE. These contributions create a safe and engaging learning environment for all students.

Why Donate?

Every contribution helps provide the extras that make a difference in students' lives. A recommended donation of $150 per student (less than $1 a day) can significantly impact educational programs. Every family’s participation is crucial to achieving the annual goal!
