Our Story

Founded in 1846, Seamen’s Society for Children and Families is a New York nonprofit organization committed to strengthening and securing the safety and well-being of children and families. Our programs are designed to protect the most vulnerable children in our communities while providing support to families facing challenges such as mental illness, substance abuse, and domestic violence.

Our Impact

Every day, over 1,250 children and 500 families benefit from our compassionate, trauma-informed services. By addressing the unique needs of each family, we work tirelessly to ensure a brighter future for the children we serve.
