Friends of Sacramento Arts

Our Story

Friends of Sacramento Arts was established in 2019 to advocate for equitable access to comprehensive arts education in K-12 public schools throughout the Sacramento Region. Following the 2018 Creative Edge Culture Plan, the organization emerged to address the critical need for arts education restoration in local schools. Led by a dedicated board and executive director Allison Cagley, Friends of Sacramento Arts collaborates with educational and cultural institutions to enhance student experiences.
