Joyously enriching the hearts and minds of a diverse community through the facilitation of art, the moving image and support of the River Oaks Theatre as a historic Art Deco arthouse. Our Vision is to act as a passionate steward to preserve the historic River Oaks Theatre as an iconic cultural destination for the benefit of all. Through programming we work to bring the world together and make it richer and more accessible by facilitating: understanding, art and the art of film. We uphold the theatre as a cool destination, linking the film industry and film tourism to Houston. As a community-based nonprofit, we are dedicated to helping the River Oaks Theatre thrive as a historic independent art house venue.
