Our Story
Founded in 2003, Recovery Café emerged from the urgent need for long-term recovery support for individuals facing homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges. Co-founded by Killian Noe, who previously established Samaritan Inns in Washington, D.C., Recovery Café was born in Seattle to create a safe and nurturing community for those on their recovery journey. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services and locations, including the launch of the Recovery Café Network, which helps other communities develop similar support systems.
