Our Story
Open Door Youth Services has been a beacon of hope for vulnerable children and youth in Southern Indiana for over 40 years. Established in 1982 as the Floyd County Youth Services Bureau, the organization was renamed in 2012 to reflect its expanded programs. With a commitment to responding to community needs, Open Door serves as many as 4,000 children annually through residential, prevention, and outreach initiatives.
