Our Story
In 2008, a dedicated group of citizens came together to celebrate the grand reopening of the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center (MTCC) with a gala featuring the Count Basie Orchestra. This event sparked a realization that more support was needed for the MTCC. In 2009, the Friends of Mosaic Templars Cultural Center (FMTCC) was established to raise funds for the center's unfunded activities. Since then, FMTCC has hosted numerous events, including support for Juneteenth celebrations, summer camps, and educational programs, all aimed at enriching the community and preserving African American culture.
