Our Story

In July 2019, the Mohave County Board of Supervisors took over the operations of the shelter, ensuring a no-kill policy for the animals in need. Recognizing the urgent need for financial and volunteer support, the Friends of Mohave County Animal Shelter was established to create a sustainable organization dedicated to the welfare of these animals. Through volunteering at adoption events, organizing fundraisers, and raising awareness, this group has made significant strides in supporting the shelter's mission.
