Our Story

Friends of Judson, now known as Judson Commons, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting secular arts and justice initiatives. Established in 2019, it has become a hub for collaboration and inspiration, fostering social justice movements and supporting artists and activists.

Impact

With a rich history of advocacy, Judson Commons has supported significant social justice initiatives, including the founding of the Clergy Consultation Service on Abortion in 1967 and providing sanctuary during the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests. The organization continues to uplift the intersections of art and social justice.
