Founded in 1909 as The Amherst Home for Aged Women, the Fisher Home has a rich history of caring for the elderly. Established through the will of Ellen Kellogg Fisher, this nonprofit has evolved into the Hospice of the Fisher Home, welcoming its first residents in November 2006.
