Our Story
Friends of Homeless Animals of RI, Inc. is an all-volunteer, non-profit charity dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs, cats, and other animals. Established in 2007 by Roie Griego and Doris Baker, FOHARI has become one of the largest and most reputable animal rescues on the East Coast, saving hundreds of animals each year.
