The Friends of Harkness Memorial State Park, Inc. is an all-volunteer organization established in 1992, committed to the preservation and restoration of Eolia, the historic estate of Edward and Mary Harkness. This beautiful property, bequeathed to the State of Connecticut in 1950, serves as a vital resource for the community, with half designated as a State Park and the other half as Camp Harkness, a facility for citizens with disabilities.
