Our Story

Foundation Academies was founded in 2007 with a single middle school and has since expanded to serve over 1,000 students across four schools in Trenton, New Jersey. As the largest and highest-ranking K-12 free public charter school in the capital city, the mission is to ensure that every child, regardless of race, gender, or socioeconomic background, has access to a high-quality public education.

Impact

Graduating seniors from Foundation Academies have gained acceptance into prestigious colleges and universities, including New Jersey Institute of Technology and Rutgers University. The Class of 2023 alone has received over $9 million in scholarships and awards, showcasing the transformative power of education.
