Our Story

Founded in 1999 by Cathy and Stan Appelbaum along with Lynn and Les Schultzel, Fostering Success began with a small team dedicated to improving the lives of foster children. Over the years, the organization has grown significantly, now employing 7 full-time staff members and engaging 50 academic mentors and over 125 volunteers.

Fostering Success proudly boasts a 100% high school graduation rate among its participants, far exceeding the national average of 50%.
