By providing free lodging at the Hines VA Fisher House, FOFH-IL ensures families can stay close to their loved ones receiving treatment, fulfilling a critical humanitarian need.
Since its inception, the Fisher House program has saved military and veterans’ families an estimated $407 million in out-of-pocket costs. FOFH-IL has provided free lodging and meals to over 13,000 families, saving them $1.5 million in expenses since 2010.
