Our Story
Founded in 2020, Friends of Felines Rescue began its journey in Rio Linda, dedicated to addressing the pressing issue of cat overpopulation. This nonprofit organization is committed to nurturing and protecting cats by providing loving foster homes for orphaned, sick, and injured felines until they are ready for adoption. Advocating for spaying and neutering, Friends of Felines Rescue not only cares for pets but also supports community cat colonies through Trap-Neuter-Return initiatives. With a focus on education, the organization offers free training on trapping and provides resources for low-cost surgeries, ensuring that every cat has a chance at a better life.
