Our Story

Friends of ET Research was founded in 1999 by passionate volunteers committed to providing hope for individuals affected by Essential Thrombocythemia (ET). This initiative began after a personal journey when the founder's daughter was diagnosed with ET at just 16 years old. Since then, the organization has raised nearly $872,322 through an annual tri-state golf tournament and special campaigns, ensuring that 100% of funds go directly to vital research.

Impact

From 2000 to December 2023, Friends of ET Research has significantly contributed to research efforts for Essential Thrombocythemia and Myeloproliferative Neoplasms, partnering with the MPN Research Foundation to enhance research initiatives.
