Our Story

Founded in 1993, Friends of Edgewood Park is an all-volunteer, donor-funded organization committed to supporting Edgewood County Park and Natural Preserve. This initiative arose after Edgewood was designated as a Natural Preserve, aiming to protect its extraordinary biodiversity and foster lasting connections with the natural world.

Impact

In 2023, dedicated volunteers contributed over 13,500 hours to habitat restoration, nature education, and interpretive programs, making a significant impact on the park's ecosystem.
