Our Story

In the aftermath of September 11, a dedicated group of Harvard Business School alumni in Washington D.C. united to support local nonprofits. They formed a volunteer consulting alliance, providing essential pro bono consulting to grassroots organizations. This initiative not only addressed critical needs but also engaged private sector professionals eager to make a meaningful impact in their communities.

Impact

Compass Pro Bono has successfully matched over 8,600 volunteers with 3,150 nonprofits, delivering an astounding $145 million in pro bono services and positively affecting 33 million lives.
