Our Story

Friends of Club 21 was founded by Tim Middlebrook after a transformative trip to South Africa in 2014. During this journey, he met Izelle Ells, the visionary behind Club 21, a school dedicated to children with Down syndrome. Recognizing the lack of public funding and government support for this vital institution, Tim, along with his wife Michelle and their four children, established Friends of Club 21 to bolster the mission of this special school. As proud parents of Sarah, born with Down syndrome, the Middlebrooks understand the essential support needed for families navigating similar challenges.
