Our Story
Founded in 1983 by Rev. David Rowe, Friends of Christ in India Inc (FOCI) was inspired by the compassionate work of local leader K. Azariah in Khammam, India. FOCI partners with Azariah's organization, CSU, to provide essential care to the needy, regardless of their religious background. After Azariah's passing in 2010, leadership transitioned to John Mark Punam Cherian and later John Franklin Thirupathi, who continue to focus on outreach in both rural and urban settings in Telangana.
Our Impact
FOCI's outreach includes homes for children and the elderly, schools, feeding programs, and health clinics, significantly improving living conditions for the urban and rural poor in Telangana.
