Our Story
Founded in 1988 by Lucy Borja, Casa Generación began as an HIV/AIDS-prevention initiative in Lima, Peru. Witnessing the struggles of street children, the organization evolved into a dedicated nonprofit focused on defending the rights of at-risk youth. By providing safe housing, education, and emotional support, Casa Generación empowers these children to rewrite their narratives and pursue brighter futures.
Impact
Since its inception, Casa Generación has transformed the lives of over 2,100 children, serving 1.5 million meals and providing more than 8,750 years of education and training. The organization creates a nurturing environment that fosters healing and personal growth, significantly improving the lives of vulnerable youth in Lima.
