Our Story

Since its inception in 1939, Camp Little Notch has been a cherished retreat for girls and young women in the greater Albany, NY area. After its closure in 2008 by the Girl Scouts, a dedicated group of former campers and staff formed Friends of Camp Little Notch in 2010 to save this beloved property. Through collaboration with the Open Space Institute, the camp was reopened in 2012, and by 2015, the Friends successfully raised funds to purchase the property, ensuring its future as a place of adventure and growth.

Impact
