Camp El-O-Win
EIN: 20-4566152 · Fresno, CA
Our Story
Established in 1958, Camp El-O-Win was born from a generous donation of 58 acres by the Grimmet Family to the Golden Valley Girl Scout Council. Opening its doors in 1959, the camp has since provided thousands of girls with transformative outdoor experiences. After facing challenges, including a temporary closure in 2002, dedicated volunteers revived the camp in 2004, leading to the formation of Friends of Camp El-O-Win in 2006. The camp was officially purchased from the Girl Scouts in 2007, ensuring its future.
