Our Story
Founded in December 2006 by dedicated parents Elaine Schear and Donna Spiegelman, Friends of Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (FOCRLS) is committed to enriching the educational experience at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School. By fostering community investment, FOCRLS supports current students and alumni in their academic and social endeavors.
Impact
Since 2011, FOCRLS has awarded over $530,000 in scholarships to CRLS seniors and graduates, including $86,950 in 2024 alone. Additionally, the organization has provided essential Market Basket gift cards to around 300 families in need, totaling $15,406, and is set to award approximately $20,000 for student trips and innovative faculty projects.
