Our Story

Established in 1987, the Alameda County Court Appointed Special Advocates (ACCASA) is dedicated to promoting and supporting quality volunteer advocates for abused and neglected children in the dependency court system. As a proud member of the National CASA/GAL Association, ACCASA has played a vital role in ensuring the security and wellbeing of over two million children across the United States.

Impact

ACCASA has provided comprehensive training and support for local volunteers, empowering them to become engaged advocates, compassionate mentors, and trusted adults in a child’s uncertain life. Thousands of children have successfully navigated the complexities of the foster care system with the support and resources provided by ACCASA.
