Our Story

Founded in 1951, AKIM Israel is dedicated to realizing the rights and improving the welfare of over 35,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families. With 68 branches across 88 municipalities, AKIM operates through the commitment of parents and volunteers from both Jewish and Arab communities.
