Friends In Need Health Center opened its doors in 1995, addressing the healthcare needs of the medically underserved in the greater Kingsport area. From just 500 patient visits in our first year, the center has expanded significantly, anticipating 7,000 visits in 2021, totaling over 116,000 encounters in 25 years.
Friends In Need offers on-site primary and dental care, along with referrals to specialized care for the uninsured and underinsured in Upper East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
