Our Story

Friends Helping Kids, Inc. is a dedicated nonprofit organization that has been providing a traditional overnight summer camp experience for children with developmental disabilities for nearly 30 years. Operated entirely by volunteers, this initiative is fueled by the generosity of private and in-kind donations.

Impact

Each year, the Krewe de Camp offers a week-long camp experience at no cost to families, ensuring that every child can participate regardless of their financial situation. Campers enjoy swimming, outdoor games, arts and crafts, and much more.
